The official Welcome to Elderfield Patreon is the welcometoelderfield creator account linked by developer Chris Cote. It provides access to development alpha updates beyond the public Demo, depending on the current membership terms. Patreon support does not include a final Steam key and is not accumulated credit toward buying the released game.

Official updates were checked on September 29, 2026. The latest documented full-game announcement is v1.0.2a, dated September 23; the separate Demo has a v1.0.0 changelog dated September 8. Older Demo and alpha research below retains its original evidence boundaries. These announcement versions do not guarantee which build is installed on your device. Full-game, Demo, and Patreon changes are kept separate throughout the guide.

The developer directs patrons to the latest Patron Release post for installation and save-transfer instructions. The original September 5 research could read a public Patreon v0.11.18 changelog preview that allowed pause-menu buttons to be reordered.
