Direct answer

Welcome to Elderfield lets players gather plants, mushrooms, and other resources, store them, process materials, and use equipment-related key items. Extra Pouches expand inventory capacity, while storage can be searched by text and filtered by category. No reliable source provides a complete current item database with prices and drop rates.

This answer uses the September 5, 2026 research snapshot and treats the Steam store, developer announcements, and directly observed footage as the strongest evidence. Search snippets and unsupported tables are not treated as proof. Where the full game, public Demo, and Patreon alpha expose different content, the page names that boundary instead of blending the builds together.

02

What the research confirms

Bloody Skin's item description directs the player to scrape it at a Witching Mortar in older Demo footage. Demo v0.11.2 added Rawhide and Herb Bundles as products, replaced Strange Doll and Lost Ring key items with equivalent equipment, and added rare outdoor treasure spots. The developer also says the full game responds to requests for a fixed skeleton-key source and facial protection, without naming exact items.

Confirmed here means either an official source states the point directly or two independent sources agree on the same observable behavior. It does not mean every related number, location, or unlock condition is known. Exact values stay out of the confirmed section unless the collected material supports them at the same version level.

03

How to use this information

Use storage search before selling unfamiliar materials, and keep quest or crafting items until their current purpose is clear. Treat Rawhide, Scraped Hide, Bloody Skin, and Leather as separate names unless a current recipe explicitly links them. Use Extra Pouches when found, but do not plan inventory layouts around an unverified slots-per-pouch number.

Use the confirmed sequence first and check the in-game wording before committing rare materials or long sessions. Interface labels and broad mechanics are more stable than balance values, rewards, and exact routes during development. A step marked Pending verification (待确认) is a research lead, not a guaranteed instruction for the current build.

04

Demo, Alpha, and launch boundaries

Toy Heart, Beating Heart, Living Soul, Sign of Death, Bones, Leather, String, Hardwood, and The Elder Gem have useful single-source leads. Their locations, processing rules, and availability across Demo, Patreon, and full game are not consistently labelled. The reported item-stack limit and counts of new gems or enemy materials are official update numbers but lack independent in-game verification.

Welcome to Elderfield has a public Steam Demo, older itch and Patreon builds, and an unreleased full game in this research snapshot. A detail can be authentic and still be obsolete or unavailable in another channel. This page therefore preserves build labels and avoids turning historical footage into a launch-version promise.

05

Pending verification (待确认)

Current item IDs, prices, vendor stock, refresh times, complete recipes, drop chances, and special-material routes are Pending verification (待确认). Claims of a fifty-percent Bones processing failure or a ten-day drying time come from weak recollection and are not used as instructions. A zero or blank table cell is treated as missing data, not a confirmed zero-value item.

Pending verification (待确认) means the collected sources did not reach the required confidence threshold. It may be supported by one guide, one developer comment, or footage whose build cannot be identified, but it lacks a matching current source. These points are retained because players search for them, while their uncertainty remains visible.
